Doctors pulled Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, who has been in treatment at the Charite since August 22, 2020, from an artificial coma and noted the improvement in the patient’s health. This is indicated on the clinic’s website.
“The patient’s artificial coma, supported by drugs, is over. The patient is gradually withdrawn from mechanical ventilation. He reacts to what he is told. Long-term consequences of severe poisoning are not excluded,” the message says.
It also clarifies that the attending physicians are in close contact with Alexei Navalny’s wife. Also, doctors believe the public announcement of Navalny’s health is in his favor.
Recall, Navalny fell ill on August 20, when he returned to Moscow from Tomsk by plane. The ocean liner made an emergency landing at Omsk.
The politician was hospitalized in serious condition at a local hospital. The politician’s associates argued that Navalny had toxic poisoning. On August 22, the Russian opponent was transferred from Omsk to Berlin.
Recently it was reported that traces of a Novichok-type poison were found in the body of a Russian opponent who was being treated in Germany, with which the Skripal family was poisoned.
