FSB officers allegedly involved in the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny with Novichok poison may be involved in three murders.
This statement was made by Bellingcat research group journalist Hristo Grozev on the air of Echo of Moscow. A snippet of the conversation was posted on the radio station’s YouTube channel. (scroll to the bottom to see the video).
Bellingcat is known to have analyzed the movements of a group of Russian intelligence officers.
Grozev noted that this information may indicate that FSB officers were involved in three more poisonings and two attempts.
“The structure is large, very well financed and worked for a long time … From a combination of three sources, I can say: there are at least three additional well founded hypotheses about possible murders. Of these, three were actually murdered and two were made attempts, “Grozev said.
The journalist described the publication of these data as the most responsible part of the work. Bellingcat plans to publish more detailed information in two weeks.
We will recall, earlier Grozev gave a long interview, in which he spoke, among other things, about the high-profile events of the Russian aggression against Ukraine.
