The Federal Prison Service of the Russian Federation has threatened to go to court to replace the conditional sentence of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in the Yves Rocher case with a real one.

This was reported by lawyer Vadim Kobzev and the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service.

The attorney received an SMS message demanding that Navalny come to the department at 9:00 a.m. on December 29. They believe that he allegedly evades the control of the criminal executive inspection. And if this is confirmed, the Federal Penitentiary Service may file a petition with the court to replace the suspended sentence with a real one.

Navalny recalled on his Instagram that he was quoted “literally the day of the trial period in the” Yves Rocher case. “

“I remind you that I won this case against Putin’s authorities at the ECHR. The court ruled that there was not even a subject of the crime, that is, the case was completely fabricated. Even the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation paid me compensation, but the FSIN continues to consider me a suspended sentence ”, commented the opponent.

Navalny added that the FSIN read the article in The Lancet, but “did not notice” the headline: “Novichok Chemical Weapons Poisoning.” “If the ‘Lancet’ article is recognized at the state level, then where, excuse me, is the criminal case for the poisoning?” – I ask.
