Since the start of the Joint Efforts 2020 exercise with NATO, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already practiced the use of various types of troops during the enemy offensive.
According to the press service of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, the soldiers have gone to the final stage of preparation for the implementation of the counterattack. (scroll to the bottom to see the video).
According to legend, the exercises lasted for several days by units of the defense forces. the enemy’s offensive operation was restricted. At the same time, the landing of enemy assault forces by sea and air was not allowed, and steps were taken to withdraw military units and sub-units from enemy sea-based cruise missile attacks.
At the same time, the issues of fire damage coordination have been resolved in detail. First, reconnaissance of enemy positions using unmanned aerial vehicles and delivering high precision hits to the most important targets.
“We are talking about preventive air strikes and destruction by fire of targets located deep within the enemy’s defense, multi-launch rocket systems “Alder”, “Uragan” and attack the Bayraktar medium-height operational-tactical unmanned aerial vehicle, as well as the defeat of the enemy of the weapons of combat vehicles, rockets and self-propelled artillery, mortars and other firearms “, – said the defenders of Ukraine.
In addition, the governing bodies of the National Police and the Security Service of Ukraine have adopted counterintelligence support measures and protection of public order.
Therefore, the participants in the exercises were able to agree on measures of interaction between land, air and naval groups and actions of the Special Operations Forces carry out a counterattack under the cover of aviation.
In addition, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook showed images of combat shooting from anti-aircraft missile systems and anti-aircraft guided missile control flight tests at the state test site “Yagorlyk”.
