Ukraine Security Service caught in a bribe deputy director of one of the institutes of the National Academy of Sciences. Doctor of Technical Sciences demanded money from a private businessman.

Now, in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 3 of art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, searches are carried out at the defendant’s workplace in the Shevchenko district of Kiev. The issue of informing the detainee about the suspicion, choosing a preventive measure and dismissing him is being resolved.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, in the Ternopil region, the head of one of the regional divisions of the State Tax Inspectorate demanded one million hryvnia in bribes from a local businessman. For this amount, he promised to reduce the amount of the penalties.
