Named full lockdown condition in Ukraine

The Cabinet of Ministers called for the condition for the introduction of a total blockade in Ukraine

If the weekend quarantine is not respected, the government will be forced to introduce stricter restrictions.

The Cabinet of Ministers must introduce a total blockade if the weekend quarantine is not respected. This was stated by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchinov on the air of the Dom television channel on Friday, November 13.

Nemchinov also spoke about compensation for companies due to the quarantine. In particular, the Cabinet of Ministers appealed to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the case to be recognized as force majeure, and the people who rented a premises or took, could make use of this right in exchange for compensation.

“People must be officially registered, their employers must receive compensation for them, who pay them money,” explained the minister.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers will make changes to the 5-7-9 affordable loan programs: entrepreneurs will be able to reissue a loan or get interest-free “holidays”.

“If the weekend quarantine is not fully implemented, unfortunately, sooner or later we will reach a total lockdown. And all estimates say that it will be very deplorable for the economy,” he summarized.

Recall that Ukraine has a new anti-COVID-19 record. Among the sick there are 388 children and 555 health workers. 1,587 people were hospitalized in hospitals.

Stepanov also spoke about the impending collapse of the medical system. If people fail to quarantine, within a month hospitals will run out of places and there will be nowhere to accept new COVID-19 patients.
