On December 24, during a trip to Gubadli and Zangilan, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told Armenia his rules of the game in Karabakh.
This was reported on the Telegram channel Sputnik Azerbaijan.
According to Aliyev, the Trilateral Agreement was actually a surrender of the Armenian state and is of great importance. “From the first days of the war, I said that the leaders of Armenia should clearly indicate when they would leave our lands. If they listened to me, they would not find themselves in a humiliating position,” he said.
At the same time, the head of Azerbaijan called his “rules of the game” in Karabakh for Armenia:
- “Today’s Armenian society must draw the correct conclusion. If they live with revenge feelings, their end will be bad,” he emphasized.
- The 2021 state budget is currently being discussed in Azerbaijan. And military spending is increasing. The problems of the army will always be in the spotlight.
- “We have no rights to the lands of other countries. We will restore ours and live on them. From now on, no one can force us to leave them,” Aliyev said.
- A gold deposit was exploited in the Zangilan region. The same is true for other returned territories. The Armenian state will answer for this.
It should be noted that the former Ilham Aliyev enraged Armenia with a stunt in Karabakh.
