Kiev’s Pechersky District Court ordered the National Anti-Corruption Office to transfer criminal proceedings for an attempted bribery of $ 5 million to the leaders of NABU and the Anti-Corruption Specialized Prosecutor’s Office to another investigating body.
This was reported by the NABU press service on Facebook. They called this decision “another kidnapping of the case.”
“The Pechersk District Court of the capital heeded the defense complaint and ordered the Attorney General to determine a new jurisdiction in the process regarding an attempt to bribe the management of NABU and SAP for $ 5 million, to close the case of suspicion of the former Minister of Ecology, “says the report.
The NABU recalled that the investigation of this case was completed in early December. After reviewing the materials, it should have been sent to the Superior Anti-Corruption Court.
The report clarified that the court’s decision was made with a series of violations. In particular, the jurisdiction was violated, the SAP prosecutor did not participate in the meeting and the decision itself is not in the Unified State Registry of Judicial Decisions.
Likewise, the NABU reported that the judicial decision, which was not received by the SAP, was issued against the law to a representative of the Attorney General’s Office.
SAP prosecutors appealed the decision to the Appeals Chamber of the Superior Anti-Corruption Court. The case is already scheduled for appeal.
As OBOZREVATEL reported:

On June 12, NABU detained several people, including the first deputy director of the Main Directorate of the Kiev State Tax Service, Nikolai Ilyashenko, while transferring a bribe in the amount of $ 6 million.
-
According to journalist Yuri Butusov, among the detainees is also the director of legal affairs for Zlochevsky’s company, Burisma Andrei Kicha.
-
The journalist clarified that the tax official transferred the money to Yevgeny Shevchenko, who had already collaborated with NABU on high-profile criminal cases.
-
A million dollars was found in Ilyashenko’s car, which, as Butusov points out, was given to him to mediate.
