President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine reported suspicion of receiving a bribe in the form of an elite SUV.
He received such a “reward” for putting a person on the list of candidates to fill the academic vacancies. Now man faces five to ten years in prison, reported the press service of the Ministry of the Interior.
In addition, in accordance with part 3 of article 368 (Acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the president of NAAS can confiscate property and deprive you of the right to occupy certain positions or participate in specific activities for three years.
According to law enforcement officers, several other people participated in the aforementioned crime. Therefore, a decision has been made on the issue of announcing suspicions and electing a preventive measure for the president of the NAAS.
What about the suspect?
