SpaceX boss Elon Musk on Saturday September 26, posted in Twitter a photograph of the Starship spacecraft, which is first assembled with plumage.

“Tails Starship SN8. Nose cone and nose assembly next week. SN9 next month. Maiden flight of 15 kilometers,” the snapshot briefly titled, showing the rocket body in the process of assembly with the empennage already installed.

The empennage will also be installed on the nose cone, which will be the first to be installed on a flying prototype. Furthermore, for the first time, not one, but three engines will be delivered to a prototype. The plumage will help the rocket return to Earth.

In early September, the unfaired, single-engine Starship prototype successfully completed its first test flight, rising to a height of 150 meters and descending backward.
