After the RFA’s official statement that Russian opposition leader Aleksey Navalny was poisoned with Novichok’s battle poison, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that the poisoning was faked. According to him, this is confirmed by the conversations intercepted by the intelligence service between Warsaw and Berlin.
Lukashenko promised to transfer the data to the Russian FSB. The next day, the recordings were published on Belarusian television.
However, the recordings turned out to be trolling: it was such a frank production that there could be no other reading here.
We collect information on a new word in the history of “cassette scandals”.
What was in the recordings
The announcement that the “Lukashenka tapes” will be released today took place in the afternoon. Later, the audio recording was released, as promised.
Warsaw: Hello Nick. How are we doing?
Sedan: Everything seems to be going according to plan, the Navalny materials are ready. You will be transferred to the Chancellor’s office. Its application is expected.
Warsaw: Is the poisoning confirmed for sure?
SedanLook, Mike, in this case it’s not that important. There is a war going on. And during the war, all kinds of methods are good.
Warsaw: I agree. Putin needs to be dissuaded from sticking his nose into Belarusian affairs. The most effective way is to drown him in the problems of Russia, and there are a lot of them. In addition, in the near future they will have elections, voting day in the regions of Russia.
Sedan: This is what we are doing. How are you doing in Belarus?
Warsaw: To be honest, not really. President Lukashenko turned out to be a tough nut to crack. They are professional and organized. It is clear that Russia supports them. Officials and the military are loyal to the president. The rest is at the meeting, not on the phone.
Sedan: Yes Yes i understand. So long, bye.
Warsaw: Until.
As you can see, the conversation is short, but very broad. It contains all the messages that Alexander Grigorievich himself has been promoting in recent days, both about Navalny and about Belomaidan.
Of course, it is hard to believe that the anonymous “Berlin” and “Warsaw” (aka Nick and Mike) discussed all this in that tone. But apparently no one set such a goal. But the father apparently decided to “mirror” the unproven information about Navalny’s poisoning by “Novichok” – launching an equally unproven “interception”.
The web is already openly making fun of this story.
And pranksters Vovan and Lexus officially stated that they had nothing to do with said conversation (initially, some observers thought it was their job).
In general, trolling has turned out to be a truly international scale. Let’s remember how it was prepared.
What Lukashenka said about the recordings
On September 2, German Chancellor Angela Merkel announced that Alexei Navalny had been poisoned by Novichok because they wanted to silence him. And she demanded an explanation from Russia.
The next day, during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Minsk, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said he had at his disposal a recording of an intercepted conversation between Warsaw and Berlin, which sheds light on the Navalny poisoning.
“I realized that, seeing the Russian events, they, the West, have a new trick. Again Novichok, again poisoning … We understand that Warsaw is talking to Berlin. Two subscribers are in contact. Our electronic military intelligence intercepted. (on the western borders of Belarus) units are deployed and of course we are waging a confrontation with NATO in the radio sphere. And we intercepted an interesting conversation, which clearly says that this is a forgery. There was no poisoning of Navalny. ” Lukashenko said.
He expressed the opinion that the director of the FSB of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bortnikov, and the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, should seriously investigate this situation. He also promised to prepare and submit a record to the FSB.
“We will transmit both the recorded voice and the text. All the materials of today or tomorrow will be with their special services so that they find out who needs it. Also quoted:” Especially in the near future they have elections, voting day in the regions of Russia I mean, they know that there are elections in Russia, and some dirty trick needs to be wrung out before these elections. We think they will come up with something else. This is his style. Here’s your face. They do not guarantee us a quiet life, a quiet life. we will not. I am convinced of this, “added Lukashenka.
In Germany, Lukashenka’s words about the falsification of the Navalny poisoning were considered false. In Moscow, they made no comment, and now it’s clear why.
The Navalny poisoning: versions of the West and Russia
Germany’s official position is as follows: Navalny was poisoned with the military poison Novichok, which according to British authorities had previously poisoned former GRU officer Sergei Skripal.
The corresponding statement appeared on the German government website. The test was carried out by a state military laboratory at the initiative of the Charite clinic, where the politician is treated.
“A special laboratory of the Bundeswehr conducted a toxicological test on samples taken from Alexei Navalny. As a result, they provided unequivocal evidence of the Novichok group’s nerve chemical agent,” the German government said in a statement.

In Russia, information about the poisoning is still considered unconfirmed. Moscow said they had made a request to Germany about Navalny’s test results, but received no response. The Russians demanded to show documents with the results of the biomaterials investigation. In addition, they have not yet received through official channels documentary evidence of the presence of “Novichok” in Navalny’s blood.
“A whole complex of analysis was carried out at Navalny in Russia before he was taken to Berlin, no toxic substances were identified,” said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian president.
This was previously stated by the Omsk doctors who treated the Russian opponent. According to the chief toxicologist of the Omsk hospital, Alexander Sabaev, in the first 8 hours of the politician’s stay in the hospital, doctors conducted chemical and toxicological studies in three independent laboratories. The test results showed that absolutely no toxic substances were detected in Navalny’s blood and urine.
Later, the doctor added that the Russian opponent had nutrition and digestion problems even before hospitalization due to the use of some type of diet.
“Navalny had problems with nutrition and digestion a few days before hospitalization, he used some kind of diet,” Sabaev said.
The head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, Sergei Naryshkin, did not rule out that the situation with Alexei Navalny was a provocation by Western special services.
“The statement by the German representatives raises more questions than answers in Russia,” he said.
And one of these questions: what does Belarus have to do with it?
Navalny and Belarus
The story with “Novichok” emerged when it became clear that the protests in Belarus had reached a dead end, and Minsk was turning more and more to Moscow.
It is not a fact that these phenomena are directly related. But logic dictates that the West will remove the Kremlin’s concessions in Belarus, including through the threat of new sanctions, already because of Navalny.
At least now Belarus is the main “hot” point in relations between the parties. The European Union and the United States want to replace Lukashenka and now see the most convenient time for it. The Kremlin fits in with the father and makes his displacement unlikely.
Furthermore, now Lukashenka is about to make those concessions to Russia which he had previously rejected and called an attack on sovereignty. We are talking about deepening the State of the Union, introducing a single currency, harmonizing tax and other systems.
In other words, it is an almost complete merger of Russia and Belarus, with a clear predominance of the Russian Federation. What the West does not want to allow.
Lukashenka put forward the thesis “Navalny was poisoned because of Belarus” the next day after the news about “Novichka”, and even in a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mishustin. That is, most likely this is a working version of the events in Moscow. It’s just that they haven’t dared to express it openly yet: Those conspiracy theories don’t fit the Russian leaders. But the eccentric Father can be entrusted with this mission.
It is not excluded that the idea of ”interception” was also born in this tandem, as a way of showing the West what its evidence on the Navalny poisoning is worth.
