During November 8, 8687 cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were confirmed in Ukraine, among patients: 350 children and 321 health workers, Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on Facebook.
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, 469,018 Ukrainians fell ill, recovered 209 143. Died of illness 8565 people, of which 115 – on the last day. On November 7, 9397 cases of COVID-19 were confirmed in Ukraine.
Most cases of infection were confirmed in Kiev (748)as well as in Kharkiv (717), Zaporizhzhya (683), Zhytomyr (636) and Kiev (590) areas.

An outbreak of coronavirus infection began in late 2019 in China. On March 11, 2020, the World Health Organization declared the spread of the coronavirus a pandemic.
