In Ukraine, the coronavirus was confirmed in 12,496 people per day. As of November 18, 570,153 cases of COVID-19 are known, Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said on his Facebook page.
He added that 535 children and 529 health workers were sick.
In addition, during the last day, 1,668 people were hospitalized. Lethal cases: 256; 8,096 people recovered.
According to the head of the Ministry of Health, the tests were performed per day – 73 064 (by PCR – 42 379, by ELISA – 30 685).
During the entire time that the pandemic lasted in Ukraine, 570,153 people fell ill; 259,079 people recovered; deaths – 10 112; PCR tests performed – 4,022,283.
During the last day, the highest number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 was registered in the regions of Kiev (1,213), Dnipropetrovsk (1,023), Cherkasy (800), Kiev (774) and Zaporozhye (708).
