According to Ukraine’s Health Minister Maxim Stepanov, they plan to equip mobile hospitals for COVID-19 patients in Kiev, Odessa and Kramatorsk.

On November 16, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine allocated money to equip mobile hospitals for those infected with coronavirus. This was announced on November 17 in a briefing by the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, reports the GORDON correspondent.

“A resolution was adopted on the allocation of funds for the provision of mobile hospitals. A total of 118 million UAH was allocated. They will be equipped in the city of Kiev, the city of Odessa and the city of Kramatorsk. These three have been chosen locations, “he said.

The minister noted that during the last 24 hours, 1,610 COVID-19 patients were hospitalized in Ukraine.

“The number of people who are in hospitals continues to grow. In this sense, we are looking for different options to really increase the number of beds,” explained Stepanov.

According to the Ministry of Health, as of November 17, there are 52,359 beds in Ukrainian hospitals in the first wave of COVID-19.

As of November 17, 557,657 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in Ukraine, of which 11,968, in the last day. Since the start of the epidemic, 9,856 COVID-19 patients have died, 250,983 people have recovered.
