Kravchuk announced the need to review the sequence of implementation of the Minsk agreements

According to the head of the delegation of Ukraine, the sequence of implementation of the points of the Minsk agreements should be reviewed.

The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, said that it was necessary to review the sequence of implementation of the points of the Minsk agreements adopted in 2015. He said this in an interview with TASS.

“If we come across such a sequence, which is stipulated in the Minsk accords, then this really cannot be done,” he said.

According to Kravchuk, a lot has changed in Donbas over the past six years and the agreements that were adopted in 2015 are out of date.

“In our plan, I showed changes in these conditions and that we need to change the order of actions. But we are not changing the basic principle, which is to achieve peace,” he said.

Kravchuk noted that the main obstacle was the question of reestablishing control at the border with Russia. According to him, this must be done before Ukraine begins to implement the political part of the agreements.

It was previously reported that the action plan for the settlement in Donbas should be feasible. This was stated by the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk.

Recall that Kiev is preparing a strategy for the Donbass for the “Normandy”. The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG noted that this year Ukraine is in a better negotiating situation than before.
