Strict quarantine can be avoided, Lyashko is sure
After analyzing the three days of rest in quarantine, the authorities will decide a new strategy to combat the pandemic.
The government will soon present a new strategy to deal with the coronavirus pandemic, it said on Friday. November 27, Chief Medical Officer Viktor Lyashko.
He recalled that if all the quarantine requirements are met, it will not be necessary to impose strict restrictions.
“Today, the health system is dealing with the number of registered cases. We continue to predict the potential growth of COVID-19 diseases, so we are working on many options for the development of events. Today there are already 6 of them”, Lyashko said.
He did not respond to the question of whether there will be a closure for the winter break.
“Our main task is to meet the epidemic standards. Today we have to spend next weekend. The strategy regarding future actions of the government, both in epidemic and economic terms, will be announced by the prime minister in the near future.” Lyashko said.
The results of the weekend quarantine will be released in a week.
“We will show all the statistics in full: what was, what was predicted, what results. Today we have to spend next weekend as prescribed there. This is the social responsibility of everyone, including companies,” Lyashko said.
