Stepanov explains the increase in the incidence of the coronavirus by the careless attitude of the Ukrainians towards the quarantine rules
So far, the situation is not critical, but Ukrainians should reconsider their attitude towards quarantine rules, said the head of the Ministry of Health.
The incidence of coronavirus in Ukraine will continue to grow in the near future. This was announced on Monday, October 5, by Health Minister Maxim Stepanov in a briefing, the RBC-Ukraine news agency reported.
“Now we have more than 4,500 infections per day last week. I am sure that this week we will cross the 5,000 mark, depending on our attitude. We can continue to grow,” he said.
The head of the Ministry of Health said that so far the situation is not critical, but the Ukrainians should reconsider their attitude towards the quarantine rules so that there is no further increase in infections.
As reported, during the last day in Ukraine, 3,771 people were infected with coronavirus. Today, there are 124,554 patients with COVID-19 in the active stage, the increase per day is 2,596.
