Ukraine calls for the conflict in the region to be resolved in accordance with the principles of territorial integrity.

Ukraine calls on Azerbaijan and Armenia to resolve the conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh in accordance with the principle of territorial integrity, Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said on Wednesday, September 30.

“In our opinion, the main thing in the Caucasus now is not to arouse already very high emotions … The current situation shows that frozen conflicts do not freeze at all and can erupt at any moment,” Kuleba said.

In his words, it is important to support the territorial integrity of countries.

“We support and support the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as Azerbaijan supported our territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders, and this principle remains absolutely unchanged for us,” Kuleba added.

The minister instructed the embassies of Ukraine in Azerbaijan and Armenia to provide all kinds of assistance to the citizens of Ukraine who are in these countries.

Let us remind you that earlier the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, declared that negotiations with Armenia are meaningless, as the Armenian Prime Minister publicly called Karabakh as part of Armenia.

In Yerevan, they say that Armenia and Karabakh are not prepared to conclude a peace agreement with Azerbaijan to the detriment of their national interests.
