Ministry of Finance spoke about road repairs in 2021

The proposed state budget for 2021 included 150 billion UAH for road construction. With this money they plan to build 7 thousand km of roads.

In 2021, the authorities plan to repair 7 thousand km of roads, for which 150 billion UAH was allocated in the draft state budget. This was reported by the Ministry of Finance on Tuesday, October 20.

“It is planned to allocate 150 billion UAH in the draft state budget for 2021 to support the development of the carriageway. Of which 36.6 billion will go to the development and maintenance of national roads, 21.3 billion UAH to construction, reconstruction, repair and maintenance of local roads “. values, streets and roads in settlements (subsidy) ”, it was reported.

The ministry emphasized that a large-scale renovation of the road infrastructure is a priority for the government by 2021.

“By the end of 2021, most of the regional centers should receive high-quality roads to neighboring regional centers. Seven thousand kilometers of roads will be repaired,” said the Ministry of Finance.

Previously, the Ministry of Infrastructure reported on the concession of roads, train stations and airports. They plan to develop Ukraine’s roads through cooperation between the state and companies, as well as with the participation of the World Bank and the Global Infrastructure Fund.

BP also made it possible to increase local loans for road repair. At the same time, the law provides for a reduction in the cost of housing and communal services and the protection of the environment.
