On Sunday, November 1, Kiev reported on the mining of the Paton Bridge. Because of this, traffic on the bridge is temporarily limited.

This was reported by the press service of the Metropolitan Patrol Police.

“Attention. There has been a message about the mining of the Paton Bridge. Traffic in both directions is temporarily restricted,” the message says.

We will recall, it was previously reported that the restoration of the Paton Bridge in Kiev will last five years. During renovation work, it is planned to increase its performance.

The Paton Bridge was commissioned in 1953. The bridge was rebuilt only once, in 2004, when the streetcar lines were dismantled. Since then, only small sections of the bridge have been repaired.

At 11:36 am, the Kyiv City State Administration reported that traffic on the bridge resumed.

Previously, RBK-Ukraine wrote that the passage of trucks was prohibited on the Paton Bridge.

Aircraft passengers were also reportedly evacuated to Zaporozhye due to the threat of mining.
