The importance of today’s match for both sides was difficult to overestimate. Luck was on the side of the owners. The prolonged attack by “Desna” ended with a run by Hemp on the right flank, which he found in Budkovskiy’s penalty area with a pass. If after the game with “Rukh” we criticized the Transcarpathian club, now the situation is different: Vasyl Kobin’s team played by a solid four, on nothing but the scoreboard, without giving in to a more experienced opponent. Precisely with football like today, the representatives of Western Ukraine will have every chance to compete for a place in the middle of the table already in their debut season.
