Sergei Mikhalok recorded a video about events in Belarus
The musician said that “citizen Lukashenko” is not the legitimate and legal leader of the country.
The Brutto Nostra group and its leader Sergei Mikhalok recorded a video message in which they spoke out in favor of holding new elections in Belarus. The corresponding video appeared on the group’s YouTube channel.
Mikhalok said he and his associates have not recognized the results of the presidential elections since 2010.
“Of course, we do not recognize the results of the official elections in our native Belarus in 2020 and we believe that the Lukashenka citizen is not the legitimate and legitimate leader of our country. We insist on new, fair and fair democratic elections,” said the musician.
Mikhalok also expressed the opinion that many candidates from different spheres, including professional politicians, can participate in the new elections.
“Personally, I think that good candidates will be those people who, over many years, with their deeds, words, deeds, ideas and work have shown that they are patriots of Belarus and want Belarus to be a free, independent and prosperous European country.” added the artist.
As an example, the musician named the Nobel Prize winner for literature Svetlana Aleksievich, the director of the Free Theater Nikolai Khalezin, the musician Lyavon Volsky, the vocalist and former boxer Vitaly Gurkov. According to him, the list can continue: “May there be many candidates and may the worthy win.”
The musician also resorted to what he called “mad dogs.”
“I believe that those who raised their hands against their people, those who beat the elderly, women, children, workers, those who beat those who earn a living, should sit on the dock and should sit behind bars. Chasing the bulls is a true will. Long live Belarus! “- Mikhalok summed up.
The band ended their video message with a song.
Earlier, Mikhalok, after a long silence, spoke about the protests in Belarus and said that the Belarusians would defeat all of Darth Vader.
Before that, fans waited for several days for the musician for a reaction to the bloody events that took place in Belarus. Mikhalok all these days did not react in any way to what was happening, and posted neutral posts on social media. Later, on Facebook and Instagram, he posted a video of his song Rodny Krai.
