On the Kremlin territory in Moscow, an employee of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSO), Mikhail Zakharov was shot and killed during his service. His unit is responsible for the personal protection of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The Baza Telegram channel reports on this.
According to Zakharov’s colleagues, the reason for his death could have been the indifferent attitude of the FSO management towards the conditions of his work, as well as numerous revisions: in one of the last shifts he was forced to work for more than 15 hours .
They added that due to an acute shortage of staff, overtime has become more prevalent at the FSO. Employees often have to work not just their shift, but also for their quitting colleagues. There is no charge for these additional hours of service, the employees say on condition of anonymity.
Before, having accumulated a sufficient amount of overtime, it was possible to retire early, for example, a year earlier than expected. However, recently, this practice was canceled and the FSO management informed employees that all of their “overtime” was being restarted.
Zakharov’s wife was not informed about the causes of her husband’s death, she was not told that he had committed suicide. Mikhail’s leadership told him only about the fact of death, without details. According to relatives, he has not recently lived with his wife and should have mutually divorced in December.
According to “Apostrophe” reports, on November 1, in the Vladimir region of Russia, a man blew himself up in the market out of jealousy, in addition to him, two other people were injured.
