Russian actor Mikhail Efremov, who is in prison after being convicted of a fatal accident, has shaved his head.
This is reported by the RT edition on Telegram.
“Mikhail Efremov was taken to the isolation ward with lush hair, and today we saw him trimmed under a typewriter, practically bald,” said a member of the Public Monitoring Commission (POC) who visited the isolation ward.
He noted that the artist is satisfied with the conditions of detention. He’s in a small cell with a TV, electric kettle and fridge. The POC member pointed out that two of Efremov’s neighbors also do not complain about the conditions and sympathize with the fact that the actor smokes.
Remember that the fatal accident that involved the actor occurred on June 8. Efremov’s SUV, who was drunk at the wheel, entered the opposite lane and collided with another car, driven by driver Sergey Zakharov. He died. Efremov himself was not injured in the accident. As a result, the artist was sentenced to 8 years in prison.
It was previously reported that Efremov’s attorney would seek a suspended sentence for the actor due to his remorse.
