The prestigious magazine France Football did not dare to award the Ballon d’Or at the end of this year, but decided to form the “dream team”.
The team was formed according to the 1-3-4-3 scheme and 140 journalists participated in the vote. The whole team is already known: the goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and three forwards.
Lev Yashin was chosen as the best goalkeeper, the only goalkeeper who managed to win the Ballon d’Or, and the positions of the three defenders were distributed as follows: Paolo Maldini, Franz Beckenbauer and Cafu.
