The French forward became the youngest player in tournament history to reach this mark.

Paris Saint-Germain host Istanbul Basaksehir in the final round of the Champions League group stage. At the end of the first half, the Parisians defeated the opponent with a score of 3: 0.

The third goal against the Turkish team thanks to the successful penalty kick was scored by striker Kilian Mbappé, for whom this goal was the 20th in the most prestigious European competition.

Thus, Mbappé became the youngest footballer in the history of the Champions League to reach this mark (21 years and 355 days).

It is worth noting that in the near future, Erling Holland of Borussia Dortmund may update the PSG forward’s record. The 20-year-old Norwegian already has 16 goals in the Champions League, while the ‘bumblebees’ made their way into the tournament playoffs from the top of the group.
