In Russia, mass vaccination against the coronavirus is scheduled to begin before the end of the year, said on Thursday, November 26, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, writes Interfax.
“I can’t tell you the exact date. But it should start before the New Year. The expectations are as follows. The main thing is that it will be voluntary,” Peskov said.
According to him, vaccination will be carried out in stages and taking into account the geographical characteristics of the country.
“There will be some staggering, but the task is to have the minimum stages, and as soon as possible to serve everyone,” Peskov said.
The question of the specific volumes of the vaccine, which is planned to be released by the end of the year, Peskov sent to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
