Map of coronavirus infection by regions of Ukraine as of May 10, 2020

The Ukrainian Ministry of Health published a map of the spread of coronavirus infection in the regions of Ukraine as of May 10. The Chernivtsi region is in the lead, Kiev is in second place and the Ivano-Frankivsk region is in third place.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health.

15,232 Covid-19 cases were confirmed, of which 522 on the last day. The disease was confirmed in 1,056 children and 2,964 doctors. A total of 176,403 blood samples for coronaviruses were studied in Ukraine by PCR.

Outpatient treatment is 10 470 patients, of which 871 children and 2431 paramedics. A total of 4,762 people required hospitalization, of whom 185 were children and 533 were doctors.

As a result of complications caused by the disease, 391 people died, of whom 21 were health workers. Among the deceased, people over 50 predominate (86%).

In total, 3,060 patients have already recovered; a repeated laboratory study did not reveal the virus in the body.

As of May 10, the coronavirus spreads to the regions.
