In the event that a public hospital demands to pay for the treatment of coronavirus disease, it should contact the hotline of the National Health Service of Ukraine (16-77). On Sunday, October 18, Ukraine’s chief sanitary physician, Viktor Lyashko, informed Radio Liberty.

According to him, the employees of the National Health Service have their own territorial divisions, they will consider these cases and resolve the issue. Lyashko emphasized that the treatment of a new type of coronavirus infection is fully funded by the state.

“If a patient is hospitalized in a hospital, in a hospital where medical care is provided to patients with coronavirus disease, the state fully covers this treatment. This is the so-called ‘covid package’, for which the National Health Service of Ukraine concludes a contract with the hospital and transfers funds, “he added. explained the Chief Medical Officer.
