Restaurateurs of famous establishments in Lviv carried out against the weekend quarantine in Ukraine, claiming it is “killing business”.
The businessmen recorded a video message to the authorities. They said the new quarantine strategy I leave them “without pants”… The men showed this thesis literally, appearing in the video with a jacket, but without pants. The video was posted on the YouTube channel “Give Pratsyuvati”. (scroll to the bottom to see).
The video features Caramel Workshop network owner Andrei Dzyuban, Coffee World coffee shop owner Markiyan Bedriy, Pravda Beer Theater co-owner Yuri Zastavny, restaurateur Vardkes Arzumanyan and the founders of the Emotions! Fest Holding Andrei Khudo and Yuri Nazaruk.
The restaurateurs demanded to start “in a realistic way, not indicative” to monitor compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements, as well as enter full lock and “close all”, if necessaryinstead of being quarantined on Saturdays and Sundays.
“You already left us without pants. We will not allow thousands of our people to do this.”, – summed up the entrepreneurs.
As OBOZREVATEL reported, on November 17, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine did not vote to abolish the weekend quarantine. At the same time, 149 deputies supported the removal of the recently introduced restrictions.
