Lviv authorities decided to declare Saturdays and Sundays business days for various establishments and institutions at the end of November, the city’s Mayor Andriy Sadovy said on Friday, November 13.
“The executive committee meeting has just ended. It was decided that until November 30, Saturday and Sunday in Lviv working days have been declared for catering establishments, shopping and entertainment centers, cultural institutions, gyms, fitness centers and markets. It is impossible to introduce weekend quarantine in Lviv as we have no days off, “he wrote on Facebook.
Sadovy published the adopted document and recommended showing it to those who “will try to interfere with your work.”
Recall that Lviv was the first to oppose the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers to introduce the weekend quarantine until the end of November. This idea from the authorities was also rejected by several other regional centers, but cities as large as Kiev, Odessa and Kharkov promised to comply with the decision.
