Dynamo – Lviv. The referee made cryptic decisions
The match “Dynamo” – “Lviv” cost Kiev fans a lot of nerve cells. But they were not only concerned, but also those who are concerned about the fate of referee Viktor Kopievsky. In the 83rd minute of the game, he made a very strange decision. A decision that cannot be explained or justified.
In the 73rd minute, Lvov defender Mikhouby received a yellow card for preventing Buschan from putting the ball into play. And in the 83rd minute, the same player received a second advance warning against Tsygankov in his own penalty area in a moment without the ball. But … The referee sent off the Lvov player and scored a free kick towards the Dynamo goal, this does not happen.
– Mihouby deserved both yellow cards, – says Miroslav Stupar… – At first, he prevented Buschan from putting the ball in play, for which he was sanctioned. And then he rocked Tsygankov in his own penalty area. But Kopievsky did not see this, this is unequivocal. Because he controlled the course of the game, he watched the Dynamo attack and Shaparenko owned the ball.
The whistle sounded as the Lviv team knocked out the ball. Kopievsky approached Mikhouby and Tsygankov, reminding the Lvov defender that he fouled his opponent with his hand and punished him with a second yellow. But why did you take a free kick in the direction of the Dynamo goal and not a penalty in the Lvov goal? There is no explanation for this. If Kopievsky believed that Tsygankov caused the situation, both players should have received a yellow card. But that did not happen. The version is that the referee on the field decided Mihouby’s punishment based on the assistant’s advice. But why they confused the situation so that the deserved second yellow was received by the player from “Lvov”, and the penalty was assigned to the goal of “Dynamo”, it is not clear, – Miroslav Stupar said.
At the moment of the free kick, from which Shaparenko scored the “Dynamo “‘s winning goal, it’s not all that simple either.
– Good attack from the “Dynamo”, Supryaga played with Buyalsky, the forward opened in the area and Klimenchuk pulled his hand, after which the latter lost coordination of movements and fell to the grass. At the same time against Buyalski there was a foul by Chelich. That is, two violations of the rules occurred simultaneously, but against Supryaga, in the penalty area. So, it was necessary to name a sanction. I think if there was a VAR then Kopievsky would have canceled the free kick and awarded a penalty, – said the expert judge.
Kopievsky’s latest mistake is tempered by the fact that Shaparenko scored a goal from a free kick. “Dynamo” finally won “Lviv” 3: 1.
Let’s also remember yesterday’s match between Dnipro-1 and Mariupol, which was judged by Dmitry Krivushkin, Mariupol won 2: 1, and one of the goals was scored by an unfair free kick.
– Dmitry Krivushkin in this episode did not stop the game, but the assistant pointed out to him the violation of Douglas against Kiryukhantsev. Although there was no violation by the Dnipro-1 player. Kiryukhantsev fouled here. This is a serious mistake – noted Miroslav Stupar.
