This is the beginning of the end even of the supposed independence of Belarus. Most likely, yesterday Putin dictated the terms of the surrender to Lukashenka.
The deal between Putin and Lukashenko on a $ 1.5 billion loan, which is now being discussed, is to have something to discuss. Three hours of communication is a long time for a topic. And, as we can see, nothing is reported about the other, which is why, in such cases, the Kremlin acts banal, arrogant, cynical. Just give a list “Wish list”, It must be fulfilled, well, or says – “save yourself, who can and how can.” I think this was the main topic of conversation with Lukashenka yesterday.
There is such a professor in Russia, Valery Solovey. He is considered an expert on the dreams of Russian leadership. Perhaps this is just a convenient channel to filter the information necessary for the public to understand what the Kremlin is thinking. That is why he said yesterday that Lukashenka was told to stay one more year as president, then he would carry out the so-called constitutional reform, announce new elections, lose them successfully and move to Moscow for the position of chairman of the state committee or some pseudostructure that seems to mean something. …
Some pseudo-reformer who will sit on the Moscow money will slip to the Belarusians
This is a traditional Moscow story. If you remember the times of Soviet Ukraine, then we had a Pyotr Yefimovich Shelest, and when he wrote the book “Ukraine our soviet ” (which one considered very nationalist) was immediately sent for promotion to Moscow, expelled from Kiev. This scenario is now planned in Moscow and I think it will be implemented gradually.
But the Belarusians will slip a kind of pseudo-reformer (revolutionary, leader of the opposition), who will actually sit on Moscow money, for example, Babaryko himself, a graduate of Gazprom, and will lead Belarus to a bright future together with the Russian Federation and deliver everything that can be .
Perhaps this happens even earlier, even during Lukashenka’s time, because the reaction from the EU and the West is obvious. No one else sees it there and they won’t see it. Everyone drew attention to today’s statement by Josep Borrell that the EU does not recognize him as a legitimate president, which means that the doors are tightly closed and Lukashenka has only one vector: the East. In other words, the situation is clear. The only question is in the nuances, details and timing of this operation to subordinate Belarus to Moscow.
These statements by Ms Tikhanovskaya that, they say, all the agreements that the illegitimate president signs will be canceled, I think, are a reaction to some explanatory work that European politicians are doing with her, explaining what the Putin regime is. Thank God that at least this was squeezed out of her, because at first her position was the same as the one announced yesterday by the Coordination Council, where she signed her love for Putin, Russia.
It is good that the EU understands that civil society in Belarus is awakening. It is very important that the process of reorientation of Belarusians goes from simply «Getz But father, come out! “to the fact that they want to live in a democratic state.
So far they do not understand that Putin is no less enemy of Belarus, besides Lukashenka. But the epiphany will also come. It will take years, but this is the beginning of a long journey. And it will end with the fact that Belarus will become part of the European family of peoples, one day it will become a member of the EU and NATO, and we, together with Belarus, will be the eastern frontier of political Europe. This path is not easy, long, but even after this Lukashenka period, which lasted 26 years, Belarusians still woke up.
Lukashenka has no choice and no way out, because power for him is already an end in itself. He merged with her and can no longer refuse. So either he will be overthrown by the people and it is not known what will happen next, or he will accept all these demands that were dictated to him in Moscow.
Hour (when Lukashenka could promise to carry out everything he agreed to with the Kremlin, but to act according to his plan) has already expired. Now he has no way to play, because before he could say: “Okay, I will buy gasoline from the Americans, they will bring it to me in liquefied form, I will buy oil in international markets.” Now it’s gone. If the West closes in on him, then it won’t be able to use him as a tool to play with the Kremlin.
