Lucescu explains why he wanted to leave the Dynamo

“I resigned because if they don’t accept me, I wouldn’t want to sit on the coaches’ bench. I came to work not for money, but for myself. There is still a lot I can do in football and I decided to come back.

The president called me to help, but I did not know that the fans were against it: at that moment I wanted to resign, but they convinced me and I returned. We won the Super Bowl and then we qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage with great victories. However, we have not yet reached a competitive level, ”said Lucescu.

Let us remind you that the Romanian specialist took over the leadership of the Dynamo at the end of July. Since then, the people of Kiev have played 12 matches under his leadership (9-2-1).
