Law enforcement officers conducted a series of searches in the case of illegal excavations of a unique burial mound, which is approximately 2.5 thousand years old.
The police conducted a series of searches in Krivoy Rog as part of an investigation into the illegal excavation of a unique Scythian mound in the Nikolaev region. It turned out that the excavations were carried out, in particular, with the equipment of a company located in the Dnepropetrovsk region, reports the press service of the police of the Nikolaev region.
“A specially trained group of law enforcement officers with the military support of the special forces arrived in the Dnipropetrovsk region. They are conducting 11 authorized searches as part of the pre-trial investigation of criminal proceedings initiated under part 5 of article 298 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Illegal search work in an archaeological heritage site, destruction, destruction or damage to objects of cultural heritage, “said in the message of law enforcement officials.
Then, on Tuesday, December 22, in Kryvyi Rih, the offices of the companies that allegedly provided equipment to excavate the mound were searched.
The “capture” of the police was the documentation for the operation of the equipment, an agreement on the provision of services regarding the work of machines and mechanisms.

We will remember, the “black archaeologists” destroyed and looted a unique Scythian mound in the Nikolaev region. The state suffered damages worth about 150 million UAH. The mound dates from the end of the 5th century to the middle of the 4th century BC. Now the historical and archaeological site is guarded by the police.
It was also reported that in Odessa, a man shot at police officers who came looking for him. A capture team arrived to neutralize the citizen.
