The Central Electoral Commission reported which parties won the most seats for local council deputies following the results of the local elections. First is the Servant of the People.
As reported by the CEC press service, as of November 18, the commission received information on the results of the deputy elections of 1,517 municipalities. (almost 96.2% of all local councils, whose deputies are elected in local elections on October 25).
According to the latest CEC data, most mandates received:
1. Servant of the people – 17.59% (5,809 people);
2. Homeland: 12.39% (4093 people);
3. Opposition platform – For life – 11.75% (3881 deputies).
From the rest of the parties to the city councils they passed:
- For the future: 11.42% of mandates (3773 people);
- European solidarity – 10.73% (3543 people);
- Our region – 5.13% (1694 people);
- Freedom of Voice – 2.61% (863 people);
- Groisman’s Ukrainian strategy – almost 1.72% (567 people);
- Offer – 1.66% (549 people);
- Oleg Lyashko’s Radical Party – 1.62% (535 people).
The CEC also announced the results of the settlement chiefs elections:
- Servant of the people – 30.74% (225 people)
- For the future – 12.43% (92 people);
- Homeland – 7.24% (53 people);
- HLE – 7.1% (52 people);
- Our region – 6.15% (45 people)
- European solidarity – 5.6% (41 people)
- Groisman’s Ukrainian Strategy – 3.83% (28 people);
- Finishes – 3.14% (23 chapters);
- Other parties: 23.77%.
In total, 110 parties received representatives in city councils at different levels.
Earlier, the leader of the Servant of the People party, Alexander Kornienko, said that the political force won the local elections by the number of deputy mandates. He announced that 6,000 deputies (about 15% in Ukraine) passed to the local councils of the ruling party, another 223 candidates became the heads of the UTO.
