The official cost of living in Ukraine in 2021 will remain twice as low as the real one
From January 1 to July 1, the cost of living will remain unchanged at UAH 2189, from December 1 it will increase to UAH 2393.
Living wage in Ukraine in 2021 will increase from July 1 to 2294 UAH. This is stated in the preliminary draft of the state budget law for 2021, presented by the Ministry of Finance on Monday, September 14.
From January 1 to July 1, the cost of living will remain unchanged at 2189 UAH. As of December 1, it will increase to 2393 UAH.
At the same time, for children under 6 years: until July 1, the cost of living will remain UAH 1921, from July 1 it will increase to UAH 2013, from December 1 to 2100 UAH.
For children and adolescents from 6 to 18 years old until July 1 – UAH 2395, from July 1 – UAH 2510, from December 1 – UAH 2618, for people with disabilities until July 1 – UAH 1769, from on July 1 – 1854 UAH, from December 1 – 1934 UAH
For healthy citizens, until July 1, the subsistence minimum will remain UAH 2270, from July 1 – UAH 2379, from December 1 – UAH 2481.
As previously reported, in Ukraine since July 1, the cost of living has increased by 91 UAH, up to 2118 UAH. The corresponding changes are foreseen by the law on the state budget for 2020.
