Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia imposed sanctions against 30 Belarusian officials. Among them is the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
This was reported by the press services of the foreign ministries of the countries.
In particular, Belarusian officials are prohibited from entering the Baltic states. At the same time, the sanctions list may be expanded in the future.
Sanctions are being imposed against officials responsible for a possible falsification of election results and the violent dispersal of protesters in Belarus. In addition to Alexander Lukashenko, the list includes:

It should be noted that previously the three Baltic countries declared non-recognition of the election results in Belarus and also condemned the use of force against protesters.
In this regard, Latvia and Estonia have prepared individual sanctions against Belarusian officials.
In addition, Lithuania prepared a sanctions list, which included Alexander Lukashenko and 117 other Belarusian officials.
It was also reported that the European Union is preparing sanctions against Belarus.
Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko threatened to retaliate against sanctions by European countries and said he would block trade routes to China and Russia.
