In a week from the start of the vaccination, 884 soldiers were vaccinated
Currently, 772 of the 7,000 military personnel who have agreed to be vaccinated have been vaccinated.
Of the 40,000 troops in the Joint Forces area of operation, 7,000 agree to be vaccinated against the coronavirus. This was stated by the chief epidemiologist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykola Olim, on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24 on Thursday, March 4.
“There are rejections among the combatants. I believe that this situation has developed as a result of the politicization of the vaccination campaign. If we take the number of soldiers in the JFO area, then out of 40 thousand only seven thousand agreed,” said Olim . .
Of these, 772 people have already received vaccinations, reported the epidemiologist.
“Currently, 884 people have been vaccinated, of which 772 people have been vaccinated in the environmental protection zone, this is 12% of those seven thousand people who agreed to be vaccinated,” said Olim.
Let us remember that the COVID vaccination in the environmental protection zone began on February 25. The first batch of the Indian drug CoviShield in the amount of 7200 doses was delivered to the 66th military hospital.
