Law enforcement agencies still hope to find survivors. The rescue operation will continue on Sunday. Eight people are still missing.

A landslide in the municipality of Djerdrum occurred on Wednesday afternoon, December 30. The landslide is 700 meters long and severely damaged at least 14 residential buildings. More than 1,000 residents have been evacuated. Another 1.5 thousand people may be forced to leave their homes, as the threat of landslides still exists.
