In Kiev, the official results of the mayoral elections have been announced. The current head of the City Council, Vitali Klitschko, won.
The results were announced at a briefing of the Territorial Election Commission of the city of Kiev.
50.52% of the voters, 365 161 people voted for Klitschko.
Due to the fact that the current mayor is getting more than 50% of the votes, there will be no second round of mayoral elections in Kiev.
For Irina Vereshchuk, candidate of the “Servant of the People”, 39,321 people voted.
For Aleksey Kucherenko of “Batkivshchyna” 45,823 voters voted.
For Aleksandr Popov, 68,757 people voted for OLEZ.
For Sergei Pritula of “Voice” 56,900 voters.
Borislav Bereza received 7,448 votes from the EcoParty.
Maxim Goldarb (self-nominated candidate) received 1,659 votes.
Diana Grantseva (self-nominated candidate) received 844 votes.
Sergei Gusovsky “For the Future” received 319 votes.
14,519 people voted for Andrey Ilyenko of Svoboda.
Yuri Levchenko from “People’s Power” was supported by 6570 people.
21,542 people voted for Oleksandr Omelchenko of Unity.
Andrei Palchevsky was supported by 38,360 people from “Victory of Palchevsky”.
1844 people voted for Viktor Petruk of the “Khvilya” Public Movement.
Mikhail Pozhivanov of the “Radical Party” was supported by 1,388 people.
22,418 voters voted for Igor Smeshko of Strength and Honor.
Mykola Tomenko from “Native Ukraine” was supported by 15,039 people.
456 people voted for Elena Filonova from “Together is Power.”
Egor Firsov from Ecological Alternative was supported by 2,759 people.
1608 people voted for Sergei Shakhov of Our Land.
Note that, according to the results of the exit polls, the current city chief, Vitali Klitschko, received the most votes of all the candidates.
As reported, the results of the Kiev mayoral elections will be announced before November 6. The Territorial Elections Commission of the city of Kiev was to announce the official results no later than the 12th day after the voting day.
