“I started an urgent conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergei Lavrov, to discuss the current situation and the ways to get out of it,” Kuleba wrote.

He indicated that today in the area of ​​the Joint Forces operation, illegal armed groups committed provocations.

“These are obvious attempts to disrupt the ceasefire and create significant obstacles to the peace process as a whole. I emphasize: Ukraine defends the unconditional and unconditional observance of the ceasefire regime, “said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

According to him, Ukraine, as stipulated by the trilateral contact group agreement, is using a coordination mechanism to respond to violations of the ceasefire regime with the assistance of the Joint Control and Coordination Center. The incident was reported to the OSCE special monitoring mission.



On September 6, as a result of the bombing of a position of Joint Forces units near Prychepilovka, Luhansk Oblast, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received injuries incompatible with life. This is the first loss of the Armed Forces since the start of the ceasefire.

On July 22, the Trilateral Contact Group agreed to a full and complete ceasefire in Donbas starting at midnight on July 27. Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that the Joint Forces in Donbass would respond to enemy bombardments even after the ceasefire went into effect.

According to the Chief of the General Staff – Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ruslan Khomchak, the ceasefire was carried out on both sides and the isolated cases of its violation were not systemic.

Today, the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG announced “isolated provocations” by the ORDLO formations, which would not interrupt the peace process.
