The judges of the Constitutional Court want to deprive of funding by 109 million UAH

This year, the Constitutional Court has 109 million unused hryvnyas, provided by the budget.

The judges of the Constitutional Court plan to deprive them of the funding of 109 million UAH, provided by the budget until the end of 2020. The bill was registered by the deputy of the Servant of the People Galina Yanchenko, according to the Telegram channel PavlovskyNEWS Monday, October 2.

As the deputy explained, although this is only her initiative and there has not yet been a broad discussion about the bill, it was registered two hours ago.

Yanchenko says the bill deals with funding for 2020. The KSU has 109 million UAH unused out of the 315 million UAH provided for this year. The popular deputy proposes to transfer this money to the educational institutions of the contact line.

At the same time, Yanchenko is not against the return of funding, “if there is a renewal, the court will regain consciousness and stop destroying Ukraine’s reputation in the eyes of the civilized world,” the Telegram channel writes.

“In general, we should pay attention to the funding of judges. On the one hand, we have 21 million UAH per year for a judge of the Constitutional Court, but at the same time, the judicial system does not have the funds to buy stamps to send their decisions, “Yanchenko said.

We will recall that earlier in the Servant of the People we discussed the “turbo mode” of the KSU. The presidential faction believes that the current actions of the Constitutional Court endanger the country’s choice of civilization.

It was also reported that the head of the KSU did not appear for questioning at the SBI. The State Bureau of Investigation is conducting a procedure in which Alexander Tupitsky is verified regarding the commission of crimes as part of a criminal organization.
