The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, responded about the best and worst scenario for the development of the situation in Donbass.
As he said in an interview with Fakty, the best option would be in the near future, preferably this year, for the political advisers to the heads of state of the “Normandy format” to meet.
(The advisers) discuss more concrete steps, agree that these steps must be stepped up and must be real. A summit is then convened, where everyone confirms the agreed position and makes decisions to start implementing the “peace, peace and peace again” formula, Kravchuk said.
According to him, if this does not happen, the Ukrainian authorities are obliged to think about how to prevent the worst case scenario.
“Personally I think about such options. But until now they cannot be expressed. As I have extensive experience, I know that a policy must announce decisions when they have already been thought out and ready for implementation. Otherwise, it is just populism,” added the head of the Ukrainian delegation to TCG.
