The head of the Ukrainian delegation to the Trilateral Contact Group, Leonid Kravchuk, believes that today the Minsk agreements cannot be fulfilled. It has negotiations in Normandy format.
He spoke about this in an interview with Radio NV.
According to Kravchuk, the implementation of the Minsk agreements is now impossible due to the different positions of Ukraine and Russia regarding the holding of elections in Donbass.
“Now we are in a rather difficult situation: there are Minsk agreements, but they cannot be implemented, given the obvious reasons. But according to international agreements, such transactions cannot be canceled by one of the parties.” – He explained.
Kravchuk hopes that the controversial issues will be resolved during the next meeting of the leaders of Ukraine, Germany, France and Russia in Berlin.
“Only at this level, I see no other way out of the situation,” he added.
