Kravchuk hopes the truce continues
Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the “DPR” will tomorrow carry out a joint inspection of the positions near the village of Shumy, near Gorlovka.
The Ukrainian side has confirmed the agreement with the “DPR” on a joint inspection of military positions near the village of Shumy near Horlivka, reports the President’s Office after an extraordinary meeting of the contact group in videoconference format on Wednesday September 9.
“Today gives us hope that the ceasefire regime will continue to be implemented by all parties. To this end, the Ukrainian side will use any mechanism both within the TCG and in the Normandy format, which will save the lives of military and Ukrainian civilians “. We remain fully committed to the peace process and the implementation of the agreements reached ”, stressed the head of the Ukrainian delegation to the TCG Leonid Kravchuk.
It is noted that during the meeting, the OSCE confirmed the inconsistency of the accusations against the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Shumov region from July 5 to September 2.
“This is a fact exposed in our report on September 5 this year,” stressed the head of the OSCE SMM in Ukraine, Yashar Halit Cevik.
It should be noted that the Ukrainian side will provide logistical and security guarantees to all participants in the inspection, in which the OSCE coordinator will also participate.
