Zelensky confirmed the resignation of the Yermak deputy, noting that Yulia Kovaliv resigned of her own free will.

The deputy director of the Office of the President, Yulia Kovaliv, resigned from her position on Monday, December 21. Kovaliv wrote about this on his Facebook page.

Kovaliv did not reveal the reasons for his decision, but said it was “an incredible experience and a great responsibility at a difficult time for the country.”

“Today I am leaving, leaving the position of deputy director of the Office of the President,” he wrote.

Later, the OP confirmed that Kovaliv had stepped down, noting that she resigned of her own free will.

“Volodymyr Zelenskyy appreciates the high professionalism and focus of Yulia Kovaliv on results,” said the Office of the President. They also added that she remains on the president’s team “for new professional achievements.”
