The Koktebel winery was sold at auction in occupied Crimea. It was bought by a company that had previously rented it to the occupation authorities.

It is reported that two companies and one individual participated in the auction. The winner is Koktebel Vintage Wine Factory LLC, which previously leased the property.
It is also reported that the plant was sold for 110 million Russian rubles, which is equivalent to 1.43 million dollars. The lot consisted of 73 non-residential buildings, production workshops and other real estate, in addition to land.
The company that won the auction belongs to the Russian Gatchinsky distillery in the Leningrad region. “Koktebel” produces dry, semi-dry and semi-sweet wines, ports. It has its own vineyards in an area of about a thousand hectares.
Recall, it was previously reported that “Koktebel” was put up for sale at a starting price of $ 1.36 million.
Before that, the Crimean Massandra winery was sold for almost $ 73 million. Ukraine’s prosecutor’s office said that the sale of the plant in the occupied territory is a war crime. It was bought by the Rossiya Bank structure, which is associated with the inner circle of Russian President Vladimir Putin and with himself.
