According to him, the new tariff will protect consumers from price fluctuations.
The product, which will protect the consumer, was recently introduced to the gas market by the Ukraine gas supply company Naftogaz, offering the annual rate plan.
This was stated by the head of the board of directors of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Andriy Kobolev, on the air of the television channel Ukraine 24.
“We, as one of the gas suppliers, respond that our proposals to consumers are fair, market-based and transparent,” Kobolev said.
According to him, the new rate will protect consumers from price fluctuations in the gas market, since it assumes the price of gas set in the contract for the entire year.
“In a dialogue with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Prime Minister Denis Shmyhal set himself a task: to offer a market product that protects the end consumer. We offered such a product: this is the annual fee. We hope it will be popular and we are confident that it will protect customers. ” , – noted Kobolev.
The head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine stressed that the main task of the new market is the security of gas supply and ensuring a fair and transparent market supply.
We recall that it was previously reported that the Naftogaz Group of Companies announced the “Annual” and “Monthly” rate plans. The first fixes the price of gas for next year at the level of 4.73 UAH. per cubic meter, no prepayment required, all gas volumes (not just pre-declared) are paid at the same price.
The price of gas within the “monthly” tariff for Naftogaz customers in August amounted to 3.24 UAH. m., in September – 4.7 UAH cubic meters.
