In 2019, the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, filed a lawsuit against the television channel 1 + 1 for the plot of the Groshi program, which was hosted and produced by the current People’s Deputy of the People’s Servant, Oleksandr Dubinsky. The court granted the claim and decided to refute the information expressed in the program.
The mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, won a lawsuit against the television channel “1 + 1” for the protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. This is stated in the decision of the capital Podolsk district court, which is at the disposal of “Babel”.
As the newspaper notes, the court made the decision itself in November 2020, but the parties only now received it in their hands. In this regard, both Klitschko and the television channel have 30 days to appeal.
According to the document, the mayor of Kiev and a co-plaintiff, who is his adviser, Dmitry Belotserkovets, filed a lawsuit in August 2019 after the broadcast of the program “Groshi”, whose presenter and producer was the journalist. and now the people’s deputy of the “Servant of the People” Alexander Dubinsky.
Considering the claim, the court resolved to satisfy it, forcing the television channel to refute the false information on the air of the “Groshi” program, as well as to remove the video of the program from all the information resources of the television company and associated social networks to her.
In addition, the court decided to recover 50,000 UAH in favor of Belotserkovets for non-pecuniary damage (the lawsuit said about 1.5 million UAH).
As the newspaper recalls, we are talking about the plot of the “Groshi” program, which claimed that Klitschko supposedly covers the “mafia”, forcing the MAF businessmen to pay tribute. The authors of the report assured that the mayor of the capital also supposedly destroys the business of those who do not agree to pay.
